Singin'

Everything's just been awesome lately. I'm very happy with my life, and I've started to have the courage to do things that I don't think I would've ever done.

Most of my friends and family know that I LOVE to sing. It's always been somethin' in my heart, and God gave me a blessing. I used to be in Choir when I was little and then got out of it because I didn't like the teacher. lol. That was the last time that I ever put myself in front of a judging crowd.

But about 2 months ago I started to put my blessing to work again. I have been a back-up singer in church. And now, they're starting to ask if we (b-up singers) would have to courage to be a lead singer so that we can give the now- lead singer a break. She's put her heart into it, and is the lead in two services on Sunday, and on Wednesday night. We also practice every week to learn new songs and to make the transitions from one song to another a little smoother. So, needless to say her voice needs a break from time to time. So, we're going to start learning how to lead the team in song. I'm nervous, but I know I'm ready. I'd be lying if I said I didn't think I could do it. I just have to keep telling myself that I AM A LEADER... I know I can do it.

So, wish me luck...and I hope that my friends have confidence in me when it comes to leading.
